We’re proud to announce our exclusive Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration with our friends from Malmö, CMMN SWDN. We've been working with the brand for several years and have admired their vision from the start. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund, CMMN SWDN sits at the intersection of masculine tailoring and soft, expressive design—pushing the boundaries of modern menswear with each collection.
For this project, we delved into the CMMN archive to source rare and refined fabrics. A standout is a navy-dyed broderie anglaise—a delicate cotton fabric known for its embroidered openwork and airy feel. Broderie anglaise, which translates to "English embroidery" in French, dates back to the 19th century and is traditionally associated with lightness and summerwear. We loved the contrast of using such a romantic, breathable textile on a structured silhouette—it’s unexpected, elevated, and perfect for the warmer months ahead. We did the Dexter shirt, one of their signature silhouettes, in a crisp Japanese cloth—boxy, short-sleeved, and ideal with or without a tee underneath. Rounding out the capsule is a pair of tropical wool shorts with an elastic waistband—tailored yet relaxed, effortless to style up or down.
