SIRE began with a friendship built on tailoring. Hugo Sire and Yojiro Ichikawa met in 2017 as students at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris. After graduating they kept working side by side, refining their skills at Hermès and several other Parisian houses before launching a label of their own in 2024.
The brand lives in the space between their two cities. Hugo, a Paris native, brings an instinctive feel for French style and the effortless ease that defines it. Yojiro brings a deep knowledge of Japanese textiles and the workshops that produce them. Designed in Paris and made in Japan, each collection lets one sensibility temper the other.
Their approach is to take the staples men already reach for and elevate them. Fabrics are high grade, production standards are exacting, and the designs stay deliberately simple. There are no logos and nothing that asks for attention. Instead, the character reveals itself slowly, in the hand of a fabric, the line of a shoulder, the care in a finished seam. It's French ease and Japanese precision held in perfect balance, clothing that rewards a closer look.
