Sage Nation is the London label from designer Sage Toda-Nation, built around his dual Japanese and British heritage. The whole brand lives in that overlap, taking British menswear touchstones and rebuilding them with traditional Japanese shapes and a real obsession with construction. Everything runs on three ideas: purpose, perspective, and balance.
The clothes are non-seasonal and genderless, made for everyday wear but never plain. Think familiar archetypes like the trench, the trucker, and the perfect pleated trouser, reworked through minimalism, symmetry, and a love of silhouette. The details are where it gets fun, with oversized collars, exaggerated pockets, asymmetrical hems, and subtle cutouts. Quiet on the surface, but there's always something going on if you look closely. Fabrics are sourced between Japan and the UK, with a conscious eye on how things are made.
If the name rings a bell, it should. Sage is also the new creative director at YMC, which makes this one feel especially right for us to carry.
