Sage Nation is the London label of designer Sage Toda-Nation, who’s half Japanese, half British, and designs right in the space between the two. He takes British staples like the trench, the trucker jacket and the pleated trouser and rebuilds them with Japanese shapes and a lot of care for how they’re constructed.

The cuts are clean and balanced yet experimental, made for everyday wear, with details like oversized collars, deep pockets and special hems that you notice the longer you look. Fabrics come from some of the best mills in Japan and the UK, so the quality shows up as much in the cloth as in the cut.

Sage is also the creative director at YMC.
